A donation of $500 was also presented on behalf of The Links, Inc., Montgomery County Chapter, Pennsylvania. Donations of 108 cases of soda and cakes were also given to the Safe House by The Coca-Cola Company, one of the symposium sponsors.

The Million-Dollar Links Safe House for Women in Crises was opened on October 17, 2003 in Nassau, Bahamas, through the sustained efforts, determination and loving care of twenty six members of the Nassau Chapter of The Links, Inc. The land was donated by the Bahamas Government through The Ministry of Social Services and Community Development. The facility was  built from donations given by numerous corporate sponsors and fund raising activities put on by the The Nassau Chapter of The Links, Incorporated with the support of the community.
