Dear Sister Links:

We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming 37th National Assembly Community Service Project in Detroit, Michigan!

The Links, Incorporated is partnering with Focus: HOPE to launch The Links Family Learning Center. This center will serve as an all-encompassing, educational resource to children and families and will also provide a facility for Detroit Chapters to conduct programs that directly impact the community. To celebrate the launch of this center, we will be inviting the Detroit community and Assembly attendees to a number of exciting, enjoyable and educational activities on Tuesday, June 29 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

These activities include:

• Health screenings provided by the AARP/Walgreens bus (Available until 4:00 pm)

• Dental and vision screenings

• Zumba Dance Class for pre-teens and teens

• Stress Management Workshop

• Financial Literacy Workshop

• AARP “Are You Ready” Workshop

We will also hold an official, ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch The Links Family Learning Center!
